Yes. Probably related to MHTRTC 25 anniversary later this week. Would be fun if they decided to correspond the reduction % to the years.

They've also changed their profile picture on bandcamp.

Looks like they removed it somewhere between 2022-12-04 and 2023-02-13, and no one noticed its been missing until today, when they added this one they have now.

Maddening.

How old do you suppose that new picture is? 2008ish?

I'm happy they did something new. Let's hope there's more to come.

Would it be too much to ask for new content for this 25th anniversary? :)

Can you completely remove the profile pic in a bc artist account? It could maybe just be the archive that's acting up.

yes, you can have it so there's no profile image.

Tomorrow is 4/20, launch of SpaceX Starship, which, as I revealed earlier, has the only copy of all the new album.
Coincidence? I think NOT!

Seriously, this wait is an exercise in futility.

[Goes out to enjoy some daffodils]
Molest me not with this pocket calculator stuff.

If The Campfire Headphase was a butterfly, would Acid Memories be the caterpillar?

I personally think we're getting everything and then some. We're getting the acoustic MHTRTC, the acoustic Geogaddi and the acoustic Tomorrow's Harvest and Headphase without any guitars since people hate them so much

Band camp says BOC added new items… got me all excited even though I knew it was MHTRTC in some fashion (vinyl and cd option)

Some interesting quotes taken from Bleep's MHTRTC promo mail today:

They begin with:
No, we don't know when the new BoC album is coming, so let's take a minute to appreciate the incredible impact that their debut long-player had.
When. Not if. Bleep knows what's up.

They end with:
It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say this is an essential part of any record collection, and the perfect place to start exploring the enigmatic world of Boards of Canada. It’s in stock now (along with the rest of their catalogue). Go listen to it. Appreciate its majesty. Maybe create a hexagonal altar and pray for their return.

Sounds like a quirky yet official confirmation of things to come. Bleep is created by Warp. I reckon what they write is not untrue.

Casually hinting they're coming back soon?

I love the person who wrote this, a good inject of humour, can't see no corporate sterile ChatGTP type wording. Bleep has filled me with the feeling that we are on the same team.
