Count me in. Best track on TH imo.

But for real, it has amazed me that it’s been a decade. It felt longer between campfire/trans Canada. I guess that’s life and time as we both pass along.

It is a pretty long time, a whole decade. But time runs out fast and that's it. The journey ahead is scary, but the end is what is really should be terrifying.

Maybe with some self sampling like Treat Em Right.

I find either of those directions would make me very happy.

There's also the much discussed space direction, which might sound like the Flash Resonance space album by Christian Chevallier, but with metallic Tomorrow's Harvest percussion.

But whatever it is, I'm just gonna be thankful it exists.

Haha, I'm over the angry dark stuff, give me the light. That said, my deepest hope for them is that they release multiple albums with different themes. First would be a mix of MHTRTC and TCH. Another would be more of meditative cosmic (slightly dark :^) theme. And then maybe something analogous to hip-hop (eg. Happy Cycling/Treat Em Right).

A straight up psychedelic children's album would be excellent too.

My goodness, it's time broz, let it rip.

If we're going by the remixes, they all seem to have different flavors or pathways that they could take.

Mr. Mistake: Tomorrow's Harvest but with guitars and a more dynamic feel. (Nuclear winter is also mentioned in the song)

Sisters: kind of an odd esoteric Societas X Tape track (with Sea Cathedral straight from it)

Sometimes: a return to the blissfulness and happy campfire feel of Headphase but more keyboard driven.

Treat Em Right: a return to the hip-hoppy Music Has the Right to Children days but way more modern sounding and a sample of themselves rather than someone else.

I'd be down for any of this honestly. I have no expectations aside from they just take me on a musical adventure

It’s hard to describe without me being able to share the screen shot pic from my phone here on Twoism. He basically referenced that song we all freaked out about back in March. But he made reference to Marcus.

Think we're getting another remix.

This one on 45'. I just hope I catch it before it sells out.

I actually really like Odd's controversial Dayvan Cowboy remix (sounds like summery shoegaze) so I'm thrilled we are poasibly getting another collab from them. The snippet sounds straight from Trans Canada Highway too

Odd's Dayvan Cowboy is really cool, it just takes way too long to get going! Or maybe I'm just too impatient with my music lmao :P
If The Campfire Headphase was a butterfly, would Acid Memories be the caterpillar?
Spoiler: show
Unfortunately I have no clue lmao. But while you're here, go ahead and check out some of my tunes! You might dig 'em and stuff!

Odd admitted in an interview that he was upset that his remix got some negative comments in reviews directed at Trans Canada Highway (Like on pitchfork and such). I didn't like it at first, but nowadays I think it's a great ambient shoegaze work and it makes me think of baking in the 90 degree summer heat! I even told Odd that once and he thanked me.

Trans Canada in general is very underrated. (I love how it's their version of Trans Europe Express!)

Cheers mate saw it in the other thread

TCH is great, It still puzzles me why Dayvan Cowboy was on it though, Not that it isn't a great track but I played it to death on Headphase only to have it on TCH again

Skyliner is lush

I love Odds remix. The weird tones at the beginning seem to spark some distant memory of hospital machinery beeping or something, really weird

I think just to justify the remix. Would be weird to have the remix for a song that isn't on the release, and I guess they didnt want to put it on it's own EP/Single.

I think the "actual" EP is the four songs in the middle, and the Dayvans bookend it.

I adore Odd Nosdam's Dayvan Cowboy remix. I think I remember reading he made it so long because he was under the impression they wanted it to serve as the entire B side of the vinyl.

Either way I love it, it's faithful to the spirit of the original while being 100% Nosdam and combining his ambient soundscapes and beats into one track.

So nobody is amped about the where_to_now_records story on Insta? It’s pretty much confirming that a broz and ON remix is imminent.

I'm more than amped. I'm charged up!

Wonder if it will drop Friday since that's the record release day.
