What kind of moderation should Twoism.org adopt?

Dear Twoism members,

Since its beginning, Twoism has been a space where people come together through a shared love for Boards of Canada and related topics. Over the years, this forum has always embraced a wide range of conversations, sometimes sharp, sometimes philosophical, sometimes deeply personal.

But times change, and so does the internet. That’s why we'd like to hear from you: how should Twoism approach moderation in the future? There’s no right or wrong answer, this is an opportunity to reflect together on what we want this community to be, and how we interact with one another.

Please take a moment to vote in the poll. Your input will help us shape the future of Twoism in a way that reflects the values of its members.

Help we’re fighting,
Twoism crew

Per the AS “smile upside down.” If the album is indeed months away, then they obviously would have been working on it before Societas X (which didn’t someone close to them suggest?), which means they would have had a couple songs or so complete at that time. I wouldn’t be surprised by the “long game” they could have been playing here by giving a sneak peek at one or two of their songs 4-5 years before the actual release. It would be like the long vision from the antagonist from Se7en. Maybe I’m wrong, but I’m hoping they continue raising the stakes when it comes to how they cultivate the mystery that surrounds each release.

Probably a radio edit or the Reach for the Dead single, but some snippets were definitely extended. Made me think back to the 'songs end before they're supposed to' comment.

Not much, just an official Dayvan Cowboy reupload on YouTube.

* on their official YouTube channel, not Warp
* AI enhanced / upscaled
* Invocation video added at the end

Same as the one uploaded on Instagram several weeks ago.

Is Invocation added to the end of the Instagram upload?

Yes, same censored edit to pass the content filter most likely

Thanks, Fredd-E! I didn't want to sit through the whole thing to find out, as great as a video is.

And this...

This doesn't make any sense. How is this man going to DM somebody on Reddit who knows them? How does he know that the user knows them? It's so Vague-Reddit-Post that's so vague people believe it that it hurts.

Nothing new I see

I will just share a tidbit to liven things up, totally undirectly related to the topic:

November 20, 2024 - An Axis Of Perdition Interview
https://occultblackmetalzine.blogspot.com/2024/11/an-axis-of-perdition-interview.html?m=1

This mini blip: "I was going through the discographies of Boards of Canada, Burial (the dubstep artist rather than my labelmates – sorry lads, you’re cool too!) and loads of Coil, who are a perennial favourite. "

Which to me is not really a surprise, there is a lot of crossover between post black-metal and industrial post-black with BOC.

Now to why am I posting this here:
Axis of Perdition has just released their latest album Friday the 13th, last week. Their previous effort was released in 2011.

With TH released in 2013, only two years to go, presumably.
Molest me not with this pocket calculator stuff.

AFX to drop 2 1/2 hour long compilation this Wednesday. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy and excited, but I'm kinda bitter it's not the broz.
