As far as I can tell/remember, not very frequently, especially when not touring or marketing a new release. Fingers crossed!

Twelve years ago Machinedrum remixed the final song on Live @ Warp 10.
Maybe OPN is set on remixing Spiro from Live @ Lighthouse?

That's where he took his photo from.

I think Dan just likes esoteric gear/vintage pics. A lot of his stories are usually electronic/prog/new age folks, or obscure gear/software from another age. I'm not reading too much into it

It's a trollish move if he's posting it for kicks.

Warp just announced a special event at The Barbican for 14th June.

The poster for the event has some names blacked out (or greened out),

Just pure speculation, but BOC related stuff could be possible if they are releasing a new album around June or July.

From Resident Advisor:
"Battles
Clarissa Connelly
Evian Christ
Mark Leckey
Kwes
Seefeel
& more to be announced

In conjunction with Barbican, we host our first major London showcase in over a decade—a reality-blurring celebration of vanguard creativity across music, art, film, and theatre, featuring exhibitions, premieres, and a grand finale concert."

That second last space in the picture could fit the name Boards of Canada... I'm still calling no BoC on this one. 8) Will eat shorts if I'm wrong.

I'd say it's *extremely* unlikely that Boards of Canada will do a live set for this event. Some kind of small teaser for new music on the other hand? That to my mind is definitely possible. After all wasn't a snippet of Cold Earth played at a festival in the run-up to Tomorrow's Harvest?

Initially, I thought the same, but surely we'd see the top of the "d" in "Boards" if that were the case.

I am genuinely tempted to go to this, and as a northerner I despise London so that's saying something

Since the remixes have been slight indicators of the direction they're heading in next... I hope we're getting some funky shit! After hearing them touch on that funky 80's electro pop sound earlier on, and then suddenly the Grace Jones mashup on Societas X + Treat Em Right remix it makes heaps of sense. We shall see.....

YES! Palace Posy was a bit like that as well.

The new album must be amazing, they are taking so long to craft it to perfection.

I tried to see if Boards of Canada would fit in that space. I do not think that they are on that poster, unfortunately.

Separately, these two things wouldn't really pique my interest, but together... yeah, could be something.

Yeah, a live performance is not happening any time soon (if ever), but seeing as the event promises more than live shows ("a reality-blurring celebration of vanguard creativity across music, art, film, and theatre, featuring exhibitions, premieres, and a grand finale concert."), this would be ideal to premiere or feature something related to the promotion of a new album.
