Legends

Freemasons, probably, are thing of the past. They being incorporated in to Deepstate.

The new tees appeared as a positive response to the fact that the old stock had run out and new requests for tees were being received by Warp. There had also been some complaints about the lack of updates/broken links on the official site, so the links were changed to show the new stock. While some fans have welcomed a sign of life at the official site, others have used it as an excuse to vent and complain again.

I should point out that none of this has anything to do with the band. The idea that these trivial updates are in some way a result of the band nurturing a 'mysterious persona thing' is totally laughable; they're simply too busy working on the new records. BOC don't deal with their sites or merchandise any more than to approve the items, despite erroneous claims that they designed the shirts.

Could be a similar situation again. However it's kind of ironic that "BoC dropping subtle hints about upcoming activity in the form of something like a merch drop" in order nurture to an enigmatic presence was totally laughable according to him, when they absolutely played into that persona with the TH marketing campaign

This MDG quote is exactly why I’m wary about reading too much meaning into liked posts on social media. “BOC don’t deal with their sites”

That quote is from 2009 though, no way to prove that it still counts for anything today. After all the Tomorrow's Harvest rollout heavily utilised the internet, and it's also important to note that BoC had a website back in the late 90s, which was not common for bands at the time. Mike and Marcus are clearly much more online than many people give them credit for, and quotes such as "the internet is evil" in my view reflect the brothers' forethought about the impact of the internet in contrast to the blind optimistic futurism of the time, as opposed to an outright rejection of it. In 2025, with the internet more prominent than ever, wouldn't it make sense for BoC to utilise it?

I think ‘The internet is Evil, wake up’ thing is about how it has been used. I mean the thing began as a means for weapon communication and perhaps it still is a weapon. Certainly a useful tool to spread propaganda, especially since the rollout of social media.

Once social media was established and we all signed up, it did something weird to our minds. A lot of people began taking selfies and then there were strange ‘Ice bucket challenges’ and ‘neck nominations’. Lots of people did strange things just to follow suit. It seems that the worst fear people have seems to be the fear of being ostracised by society.

I believe that from day dot. Mike and Marcus have been on the very fringes of society. They are psychedelic people. They play the trickster/fool and they take none of this too seriously. They genuinely care for their fans, but they’re not going to spell it out for you.

Is the internet Evil? There’s shit and shinola that’s for sure. I was hoping for an announcement today about a new album. But all the signs are there that they’re retired now. I wish them and their families health and happiness in their retirement.
Thank you Boards of Canada. You’ve been a great entertainer and teacher.

well, would you look at that: Tomorrow's Harvest is twelve years old on thisday (that is, old enough to be a seventh grader in the UnitedStates'of America).

my birth'day is to'day, June 10th.
I was 20 upon the release'of TH & 'now' I'have 32 years.
it seemed remarkable (able to be remarked upon), how my favorite musicians gifted a new album on the tenth.
it'is hard to believe their most-recent work arrived when I was a mere twenty-year-old.
now I'have a daughter; then I lived in a dorm room.
other things'have changed, too. (many pairs of shoes later.)

greetings from a 'difficult time' on planet Earth !
to'day I opted for 'Nilgiri Blue Mountain' with lemonbalm from a nearby farm.

Interesting, you can argue the life can change as much as you allow it. People come and people go. You getting older. Times changes. But that shabby Tomorrow's Harvest cd is still banging through the open windows of your old Opel Astra.
One thing I'm woried the way corporations and powers that b trying to change the past 1984 style. Digital music dessapearing from the existence. And then you allow to listen what is allowed to stream basically.
What makes you think you have a choice?

I think it's a valid point. A lot of the music that I own on CD / vinyl isn't available on Spotify etc, and some of the things on my playlists sometimes disappear or turn into 're-recorded' versions. I assume it's because of recording contracts rather than any David Icke nonsense but it still feels a bit like music is being erased from history

The numbers could point to the date June 3rd, 2025
2 + 0 + 2 + 5 = 9.

In English Gematria, Nobody Home equals 696.
Turn the 9 and you get 666.
Turn the last 6 and you get 699 — possibly pointing to June 9th, 2025.

Just playing with numbers here…

I played a little bit with the Pink Floyd ones (36-24-36, 1961, 47 and 15) and followed them a couple weeks ago:

36-24-36 added is 96, inverting them gives 69 /

1976 (1961+15):
    - Stevie Wonder - Songs in The Key Of Life released on September 28, 1976

    - Logan's run released on June 23, 1976
the ankh plays an important role in Logan's run, the ankh is also known as key of life

    - 10th track from Marcus Eoin's Campfire Mixtape is Joni Mitchell's "Amelia" Asylum, 1976. Joni Mitchell's The Asylum Albums (1976-1980), a five-disc box set, was released on June 21, 2024
Maybe the most perfect song ever recorded. Joni sings "some might find their paradise". Some might find it listening to this gem. When the fire's dying down and you want one last song echoing out as you make your way home, this should be it. Damn, is that ten already?

2008 (1961+47):
    - MDG said on August 8 that the bocset is almost 99% likely to happen
    - They released the rubber cops stuff on September 29th

Further stuff matching August activity was PIC posting a studio quality version of ATP-06 on August 1st 2024, and warp adding every old tunes tape to yt's copyright db later that month

2023 (1961+47+15):
    - Twoism repress surfaced on may 5th (5/5)

and here's a comment from the bocpages ig post about it:
luckky_92 wrote:“Nobody’s Home” obviously refers to Pink Floyd’s song from “The Wall”. It is worth noting that the track’s length is 3:22. More importantly, at the beginning of the song you can hear a background voice saying “36-24-36. Does that answer your question?” These numbers refer to the supposed measurements (in inches) of an ideal woman's body shape. Now, let’s do the math. 36=9, 24=6, 36=9… I don’t know you, but I sense this might indicate the release date of the new record: 09/06/2025 (bear in mind that 2+0+2+5=9). What also struck both my friend and me is that this works using the metric system as well: 90-60-90… You get the same result. Last but not least, 36+24+36= 96… Again, this would indicate that the release date is 09/06. The icing on the cake is that, as most of you already know, June 9th is the title of one of their old tracks… Oh, and yes, Pentecost Monday falls on June 9th this year. Pentecost comes from Ancient Greek “Pente” which means… the fifth (the new release will be BoC’s fifth LP). I don’t know guys, but to me this just cannot be a mere coincidence.

welp that didn't happen, but what about september 6th? <:)

With them being into ritualistic magick. I’d say that the best time for them to release the new album is 06/06/26. It also falls on Saturday(the 6th day) the 6th planet. The Saturday son (child) I hope they release it that day, because it’s the day I’m getting married. Underwater scuba style.

Warp selling the new BoC merch at this Barbican event, feels prime for a small BoC tease. I want a small film crew in that room, proper surveillance. Be on guard.
