So no more "403 Forbidden" on https://cosecha-transmisiones.com/

Is that normal for it to disappear?

3 days y'all.

I’ve never seen the Cosecha site look how it is now—

“User is not authorized to perform this action”

Am I mistaken?

Yes, it has been like this for quite a while before. But there's multiple changes since the "nobody home..." event.

I updated my previous overview to reflect these new changes:

The fact that the site keeps changing is a good sign. It gave users an option to sign in from August 1-3. Perhaps that was for the crowd to look over the site and make suggestions or give the thumbs up. This has to culminate soon.

I’m inclined to agree. The best sign being when it asked for a login, other than the initial Morse code… I don’t know what to make of errors 522, 403, or these other slight changes.

I do think this is weird that this activity is taking place on this old Tomorrow’s Harvest ARG site though. My memory of the TH release is hazy, but weren’t there other sites used as well? Was this cosecha site where the ARG ended, with the livestream listening party? Any thoughts on why this site would be a significant place from the ARG to reactivate?

Good question. Perhaps it's serving as a "relic" that we all are aware of. It represented a new release. They know that WE KNOW its significance. And isn't there something kinda romantic about resurrecting something that was dead or out of use?

These changes in error codes are important because they simply mean that work is being done on the site. After all these years.

The cosecha site is where the final code had to be put in indeed. If you like to have a complete overview:

Both articles are important. :)

And thanks to Fredd-E for the new interviews transcript and WATER_CAN-_- for pointing out, regarding 2 of the instagram posts, here are some Mike's quotes...

2nd post

"The song "Slow This Bird Down" has a double meaning. On one hand, it sounds like something a pilot would say when trying to land an airplane—"slow this bird down". But it also comments on our world, suggesting that everything is moving too fast and is too chaotic. People need to discern what's important and protect it. I believe I'm not the only one nostalgic for a simpler, more naive time when people weren't constantly waiting for something on the horizon. Listening to that song feels like a big black cloud is finally clearing, and a glimmer of hope is peeking through."

"The title has a double meaning. It's part of another fantasy journey that is going on in the journey that the album brings. In a superficial sense, the title sounds like something a pilot in a small plane would say. It's like a pilot finding a place to land and saying, "Okay, I'm going to loosen the speed of this small aircraft (This Bird) and land". But the meaning I really wanted to convey was that this world is in a very bad and dead-end state right now. This is true politically, technologically, and environmentally. So the title "This Bird" is really referring to this world."

3rd post

"When I was a kid, about five or six years old, a relative of mine had one of those tacky ceramic owls on their mantelpiece, and it had multifaceted diamante eyes. I was totally obsessed with those sparkly glass eyes, for ages. I felt like looking into them was like looking sideways though everything, right through time. That's what we're trying to do with our music."

This is giving me "football fans, during transfer window, tracking flights" vibes

I'm kind of having fun seeing a bunch of people unwittingly teach themselves HTTP protocol semantics by trying to decipher what the site is doing. No university course could motivate people this much!

North by North wrote:The whole August 22nd, 1996 thing has always intrigued me. It's the last login date on the cosecha site and the numbers are in the TH artwork. I know there was a lot speculation as to the significance of this date already in this thread, but this year would mark the 20th anniversary of that date. Not saying it means anything, but still very intrigued by the date, especially with numbers being so prevalent in BOC works. And the 2:57 time stamp also being the same # of the TH release (WARPCD257).

There's a million rabbit holes here, I know. From welfare reform being signed on that date (aka "Apocalypse Now"), to William James Millar Mackenzie's death, to the Red Sox victory over the Oakland Athletics.

I really do wonder about the dates/these numbers. It's like a scab that won't heal!
