I do not see any obvious use of AI in the post. Looks like a slowed down version of the movie.

Also pretty sure the post in the past that had AI used in it was a fan edit they posted. Could be wrong on that, but all of the posts on their insta that I briefly looked at have been reposts of fan content.

Yes, which makes it even more egregious. You can watch the scene here at 1 hour and 27 minutes: https://tubitv.com/movies/565117/killin ... tpost-zeta

Slowed down footage does not look like the social media post.
The coloring is inconsistent and off.
The ACTUAL SCENE doesn't look like that from its framing & blocking, let alone narrative.
The blurring is not how frame rates work slowed down (digital or film).

It is AI.

Who cares if it’s Ai or not.

I take it back, seems like they are indiscriminately liking posts. This is still a good day though!

This. Always good to see BoC activity. Set in motion by them, Warp or Bleep, it's better than nothing!

And we finally know that August 15, 1995, is the definitive release date. That took a while. :D

What movement today are you all referring to? I don't have social media accounts, so can't really check in on anything. Thanks.

Different copies and transfers can have more or less frames.
>The coloring is inconsistent and off.
Unless you have the master tape we don't know whats off or on
>The ACTUAL SCENE doesn't look like that from its framing & blocking, let alone narrative.
Its the exact same footage. Don't make me do a side by side.
>The blurring is not how frame rates work slowed down (digital or film).
What?

Seems like a nice enough little anniversary post. Doesn't look AI to me but even if it was, wouldn't bother me. Usage as a tool in video editing, as part of a larger suite of skills, is not the problematic part of the technology to me.

I really don't want to shit up the thread further with the whole AI talk but I wasted over an hour on this. 2020k and NorthernPlastics are probably right. The quality and frame rate are just too smooth for my amateur gear and amateur opinion. In hindsight its obvious but I still had fun trying to bend reality. Have you guys heard of frame interpolation? I was experimenting with this shit 15 years ago. Look up Twixtor.

I'm not outright saying it's definitely not AI, I'm just saying that this smoothing could definitely be achieved without AI.

Twoism was never out of print on the Bleep shop. I check all of the time for a Hi-Scores repress.

I, for one, am clinging to a Hi-Scores repress with braille and the sticker. After that? Who knows! Let them live in Enya's guest room in her secluded Ireland castle for all I care. They've earned it. :D

.

Here’s something, I left a question on their instagram post asking if they’re making a new album or not. They liked the post, so maybe hope springs eternal.

Looking back 14 years and all that has changed and all that has happened in my life, your lives and theirs.. There's a good chance they gave up making music for release. Anything could have happened to them. We will never know if this happened or that happened.

Likes on Facebook comments are completely meaningless. Could be warp saying yes we agree a new album would be nice.

Honestly I think we're being fucked with and I don't think this persistent hope in the eternal darkness of space is healthy.

I'm good to talk about what we have but I can't keep hoping for the rest of my life. Time to call it a day.

I love BoC and the fans, of which I've been a hardcore one since 1998...so many killer sample/kit reveals by Twoism/WATMM over the years, thanks for that so much.

We are the most obsessive, caring (and slightly creepy) fans that any band could wish to have (or not) as a base, maybe?
Which definitely freaks them out a wee bit (the stalky part, that is...of that I know summat, less of which better said).

Suffice to say, I've heard word since 2022 that the (potentially last) LP has been pretty much good to go, but life got in the way (as it tends to).

Not at liberty to divulge details, cos it relates to my dear friend's dear friend, who has a very personal interaction with someone in the immediate BoC family. My pal, and his pal, are well old school anyhoo, so no danger on that internet front to be honest.

Sounds like a pisstake I'm sure, but I'm 55 and have known my dear friend since 1998 and it was quite an odd BoC-end to hear about all this in 2022, after my initial BoC intro having met/barely known an HS acolyte at Dundee art college in the mid to late 90s.

TL/DR: random dude on internet says LP5 is happening, as confirmed by MDG years ago. It'll happen. Chill.

Feel a bit weird typing this all out, I'm an old-ish man, only a month to a year older than either of the lads.
Just had some big news recently (not good, alas) so thought I'd try and spread some BoC-light.

These are dark times, have felt like posting something a couple of times over the last two years but it never felt right, doesnae even now to be honest, but hey ho, fuck it. We're all gonna die at some point eh.

Definitely some new BOC sometime in our lifetime, assuming you're not older than 80....yeah? That's right.

Love you Twoism!

Appreciate the post. I hope the creepy side of BoC fans subsides, in this world where everyone is connected, we should admire and respect BoC's dedication to remaining wordless and off the grid. I don't think any of us need to dig for details anymore, everything will come out in the wash, seemingly very soon. They liked my comment "The time feels right for new BoC", and doesn't it just? :D

Tarkahut Lighthouse bumper seen on Adult Swim last night around 10PM CDT, my man saw it at his work yesterday.
Great signs w/ Vinyl release (of which we are proud owners of now)
