I’m sort of picking up on ‘reminder’ vibes. Cycling through different “faces” of the site could be their way of reminding us that the ARG infrastructure is not completely abandoned. Hm.

User not authorized makes me think of a door that was once open during the TH ARG keeps opening and shutting. I probably sound crazy but if there is any presence by BOC online, it has to be intentional - whether it’s them or Warp, falling out or not.

This redirect from cosecha seems to be a reminder of how time sensitive the whole rollout was. You had to be watching or you missed it.

Has something been overlooked from 2013 onward? It’s been stated before, but I assume that the TH redirect could be a decoy while work is being done in the background.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that there is some unfinished business related to TH / cosecha. I have not been super excited in many moons but I am starting to feel something… and whatever all of this is, it’s either just a nod to the past (on point for boc) or a setup for future continuation.

I very much feel that http://boardsofcanada.com/ is going to be home for the new website. It's just been a redirect to their bleep page for as long as I can remember.

This makes a lol or of sense to me. Remember when the Boards of Canada website was cool?

Finally, something you and I 100% agree on.

lmao

I will say, this sort of update has definitely lightened up the community, and I appreciate that. Thank you, BOC/Warp!

And 10 years ago...

Whats the point of using Laravel just for a redirect? Seems a little overkill.

It may still be in use. In web development, anything is possible. Perhaps developers have access to the Laravel-powered test site via a login panel at https://cosecha-transmisiones.com/secretnewalbum based on IP locking. All other requests to access the site, such as ours, are simply redirected safely to that YouTube video. Or they are done with this site and the redirect is its final destination.
Now we are waiting for a brand new site perhaps. I have a feeling that this is not yet the grand finale.
